From January 1 through August 31, 6,521 donors and their families selflessly gave the gift of sight. 7,568 tissues were provided for sight-restoring transplants and 2,158 tissues helped to advance vision research and support clinical education and training.

A return to Guatemala City  

In May, Eversight supported a second medical service trip to Guatemala City, continuing a growing partnership to expand access to vision care for those in need. Through international collaboration and donated tissue, surgeons at Visualiza performed 10 sight-restoring corneal transplants for patients in need.
