From January 1 through March 31, 2,706 donors and their families selflessly gave the gift of sight. 2,808 tissues were provided for sight restoring transplants, and 884 tissues helped to advance vision research and support clinical education and training.

In 2025, together with donors and their families, surgeons, researchers, philanthropic supporters and more, we helped restore sight and advance vision care around the world.

Restoring sight in Israel

Marcus Muallem, MD, performed 11 sight-restoring cornea transplants for patients in need in Jerusalem, Israel. This effort, made possible through Eversight’s global aid program, brought both renewed vision and hope to patients who had waited years for care.

2026 Eye & Vision Research Grants awarded

Newly awarded research grants are supporting projects focused on understanding the eye and improving how vision loss is treated and prevented. From exploring corneal structure to advancing surgical outcomes, these efforts are helping shape the future of sight-restoring care.
