In January, 998 donors and their families selflessly gave the gift of sight. 965 tissues were provided for sight restoring transplants, and 226 tissues helped to advance vision research and support clinical education and training.

Sierra Bochik lived boldly. She was known for her confidence, humor and fierce loyalty. When she died at just 26, Sierra became an eye, organ and tissue donor—saving lives, restoring sight and leaving a legacy of hope.

Grant supports sight restoration, research & more

The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven has awarded Eversight a $20,000 grant to support clinical operations, provide surgeon education and training, and conduct vision research into blinding eye diseases.
