The impact and evolution of eye donation

Working in the field of ophthalmology for over 40 years, Carol Pollack-Rundle has seen the impact of eye donation and its evolution firsthand.

Mark S. Milner, MD delivered a recent Eversight webinar on innovative dry eye therapies, including compounded medications, biologics, neurostimulation, immunosuppression and anti-infectives. 

Give to spread the gift of sight 

Angelina was only 13 years old when she scratched her cornea and the resulting infection gave her a 50/50 chance of losing sight in her left eye. Her saving grace came in the form of a cornea transplant. Learn more about Angelina’s story and the impact of donation & transplantation.  

Check Your Heart Capitol rally June 20 

Join donor family members, transplant recipients, waiting patients, medical professionals and other supporters on Tuesday, June 20 for the Gift of Life Michigan Check Your Heart Capitol rally to encourage lawmakers to support eye, organ and tissue donation in Michigan.
